Half time is over, time for the children to go home
First time in many years that I’ve been solicited drugs on the street. Perhaps there is hope for New York City afterall…

It’s gray and rainy; the cats and I are staying in bed today.
Overheard (said to someone quite visibly younger than I): I really appreciate you as a woman, as a really hot older woman.
Shift change again…
Overheard: she’s like a carrot now, really skinny and orange.
Overheard said to the bartender: Man… it’s been a rough week, I really need a Bud Lite.
And… I just can’t care who won the game.
Helicopters have been circling overhead for almost half an hour. Not sure what’s going on…

Took car home, seatbelt didn’t work. Told driver it’s illegal to have nonworking seatbelt. He gave me the silent treatment all the way home
